libdiet-client2.8-dev software package provides DIET grid middleware - client development files, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libdiet-client2.8-dev
libdiet-client2.8-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libdiet-client2.8-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libdiet-client2.8-dev *
You will get with libdiet-client2.8-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
